As part of our ongoing charitable nature, we have ‘joined the crew’ at the Mary Rose 500 appeal and will be donating our time towards this fantastic historical cause. Henry the 8th flagship, a notable part of Portsmouth's maritime heritage, sank in 1545. We weren’t there, but we do remember being late for school that morning in 1982 to watch her being raised.
It's because of this milestone in history that we are happy to get involved with Fiona and the ‘500’ appeal team. We were recently called along for a bit of public relations photography, to capture the first members of the new ‘500 crew’. Afterwards we asked nicely if we could go see the ship, and paul got a top notch HDR shot through 2 inches of wet glass (as can be seen on the album cover below).
