(Dave) The decision was finally made to buy myself a van. My old car was on its last legs, and I wanted something that we could throw all of our kit in when we’re out on a shoot. So after much looking around I found an Astra van at a reasonable price and snapped it up.
No point in having a van if you don’t have it logoed up, and so within a day of purchasing the Van, Rob at A&S signs and graphics had knocked up a design that we liked, and booked the van in a day after that for the vinyl artwork to be applied.
I took the camera along to capture Rob and Kevin at work, only for Rob to get all shy when the camera was on him. I promised him hands only in the shots, and the results are here for you to see.
Oh, by the way, we always give our new kit some form of nickname usually along the beastly line, and so as it’s the new shiny silver PostArt van, The Silver Beast is born.......
